Kershner "Unique" Banjo Tailpiece

This banjo tailpiece is from the early part of the 20th century, marked with a stamp "patented 5-9-16". It is nickel plated brass, in overall good condition but some of the plating is worn away and there is discoloration/tarnish on much of the piece as well as the included hardware. All that is included is pictured.
