🔥 52 YEARS OF GIBSON HISTORY. PURE KALAMAZOO SOUL. CLASSIC P-90 FIREPOWER. 🔥

Forget ordinary. This is a 1974 Gibson Les Paul Special ’55 Reissue — a bona fide Kalamazoo-built vintage Gibson with looks, feel, and attitude that simply cannot be manufactured overnight. Created as a revival of the legendary 1955 Les Paul Special, this early reissue brings together solid mahogany construction, a set mahogany neck, bound rosewood fingerboard, distinctive sunburst finish, and that unmistakable single-cutaway silhouette. Now 52 years into its own story, this guitar has become a piece of Gibson history in its own right. No modern imitation. No artificial vintage treatment. Just the real thing: a genuine 1970s Gibson with decades of character behind it.

AND THEN THERE’S THE TONE. The neck position retains an original Gibson pickup, while the bridge is loaded with a Seymour Duncan Antiquity P-90 — a highly regarded vintage-inspired pickup built for players who crave the punch, grit, and expressive midrange that made P-90s legendary. The combination delivers a seriously versatile tonal palette: warm, woody cleans; snappy, articulate chords; snarling blues leads; and raw, overdriven rock tones that cut through a mix. Add the traditional two-volume, two-tone controls, three-way selector, and wraparound bridge, and you have a wonderfully direct, no-nonsense playing experience. This is the kind of guitar that rewards touch, responds to your hands, and encourages you to turn your amp up and PLAY.

Gibson has been at the heart of rock history for generations. Jimmy Page used a Gibson Les Paul to help create some of Led Zeppelin’s most iconic sounds, while Slash made the Les Paul silhouette synonymous with arena-sized rock. The Special takes a different route — leaner, grittier, and unapologetically raw, with the unmistakable voice of P-90 pickups. This early ’55 Reissue offers a chance to own a genuine Kalamazoo-era Gibson without stepping into the considerably higher price territory of an original 1955 Special. It also comes with its original brown rectangular hardshell case, adding another important piece to its vintage appeal. One original Gibson pickup, one Seymour Duncan Antiquity P-90, and more than half a century of its' own history make this a distinctive instrument with a story worth owning.

HERE’S THE BOTTOM LINE: THIS IS A VINTAGE GIBSON WITH REAL HERITAGE, REAL CHARACTER, AND REAL ATTITUDE. Whether you’re a serious Gibson enthusiast, a working player, or a collector, this Les Paul Special is the absolute Real Deal.... Vintage Gibson. Historic Kalamazoo craftsmanship. Classic P-90 firepower. This 1974 Les Paul Special ’55 Reissue checks all the right boxes for players and collectors who know what makes an instrument special. Don’t just admire it — make it yours and own a genuine piece of Gibson history.

*As is shown in the pictures, there are cosmetic blemishes on the body of the guitar. However, it should also be noted that - this instrument has a nitrocellulos finish. Nitrocellulose is designed to intentionally age into a distinctive, unique patina, playing into the idea of the vintage re-issue. (In fact Gibson was the first to use this finish). Despite of, or perhaps because of, the blemishes and aged finish, it's a stunning looking instrument. She's beautiful and plays like an absolute dream.
