G&L Legacy Special Blue Marble 1996 w/ Original Molded Case

Condition: Excellent

Original bridge block and saddles (included) were replaced with matching G&L parts from the same era. We are in including the ones this guitar came with as well.

A masterpiece of Leo Fender's design philosophy, the G&L Legacy Special pairs an S-style body with three custom dual-blade humbucking pickups (TWB2 and TWB2A) that strike a perfect balance between single-coil clarity and humbucker warmth. These thoughtfully engineered pickups eliminate 60-cycle hum while preserving the articulate tone that made this model a favorite among professionals.

The PTB (Passive Treble and Bass) circuit gives you sophisticated tone-shaping control—dial back muddiness with the master bass rolloff or brighten your attack with the treble control. The legendary Dual-Fulcrum vibrato bridge, anchored by brass inserts and hardened steel knife-edge bolts, maintains rock-solid tuning stability through aggressive playing.

A comfortable bolt-on neck and smooth fingerboard invite hours of inspired playing, whether you're chasing bright, clean tones, punchy mids, or articulate leads. From classic rock and blues to funk and modern styles, the Legacy Special adapts to your voice.

Notably, the original bridge block and saddles are included alongside the matching G&L replacement parts currently installed A rare opportunity to own a piece of American guitar heritage in outstanding condition in a beautiful and uncommon blue finish. Also comes with the original molded case and case candy! Overall, considering its age and replacement parts, this guitar is in very good shape.
