This E16J1 16" is a 10mil single ply timbale, snare drum or tom head. It has a solid attack with an even spread and a dense center. It is an extremely articulate and sensitive drum head. It is not coated, but is etched. It has a warm and wide open sustain. This is a great choice of head for timbale, snare or toms!
