Vintage 1983 Boss BF-2 Flanger, Made in Japan with the highly sought-after black label construction. Renowned for its rich analog sweep, from subtle chorus-like modulation to dramatic jet-plane flange effects, the BF-2 became one of the most widely used flanger pedals of the 1980s and remains a favorite among collectors and players alike. Notable users of the BF-2 include Prince, while artists such as Robert Smith and Johnny Marr are also closely associated with BF-2 flanger tones. Produced in Japan from 1980–1983, the black label BF-2 represents the earliest and most collectible version of this classic Boss pedal.

This unit has been tested and functions as intended and expected. This particular item has some superficial cosmetic blemishes and scratches not uncommon with a vintage pedal. Pedal is missing the rubber (THING??) by the battery casing This pedal still sounds incredible.
