Billy Gibbons’ famous fur-covered Explorer-style guitar became iconic during the early MTV era of ZZ Top, especially in the 1983 music video for “Legs.” The spinning fur guitars appeared in several videos from the Eliminator era, including “Legs,” “Sharp Dressed Man,” and live performances during the mid-1980s.

The original furry instruments were custom-built by Dean Guitars’ founder Dean Zelinsky in 1983. Billy later also used a fur-covered Gibson Explorer-style guitar on tours and stage appearances in later years.

This approximately 10-inch miniature guitar is styled after the signature Gibson Explorer associated with Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top and comes complete with a display stand.
