The 7-string classical guitar has traversed hundreds of years of traditional music making, and Ibanez's GA Cutaway Classical makes it more comfortable than ever for modern performers to join the revelry. Its single-cut body, crafted from solid German spruce over laminated mahogany, creates a delightfully player-friendly and tonally balanced musical foundation, giving every classical guitarist the confidence to hone their skills and perform with expressive authority. An extended 20-fret rosewood fingerboard, dependable traditional-style tuners, and bone saddle/nut appointments bring this instrument to life beneath your fingers. Sharply styled and fitted with a versatile Fishman preamp for plugged-in play, the refined 7-string GA Cutaway Classical from Ibanez makes a fantastic companion for expanding the creative possibilities of your classical guitar journey.

Bringing 7-string versatility into the realm of classical guitar might sound easier said than done, but the GA Cutaway Classical is ready to make a true believer out of even the most skeptical guitarist. The instrument's shallow-sloped Venetian cutaway, which enhances complete ease of access all the way up to the 20th fret extension of its flat-radius rosewood fingerboard, provides superior playing comfort in an area that many classical guitarists are not accustomed to. In terms of tone, a solid German spruce top allows for pure and balanced projection of every note, chord, and arpeggiation across the GA Cutaway Classical's 7-string range, supported by the warmer resonance of laminated mahogany at the back and sides.

You can expect just as much attention to detail across the GA Cutaway Classical's finer elements, beginning with its hardware. Gold classical tuning machines, a fingerboard-matching rosewood bridge, and real bone for its nut and saddle instill a traditional, natural energy and steady playability that classical guitarists of any tenure will appreciate. Stylistically, the GA Cutaway Classical's beautiful Classical Mosaic rosette design, body-wide mahogany binding, and elegantly carved headstock infuse an extra layer of subtle sophistication, creating a charming look that transitions seamlessly from wall hanger to center stage.

For a clear and remarkably natural translation of your instrument's acoustic tone to P.A. speakers, amplifiers, and D.I. recording interfaces, the GA Cutaway Classical employs a Fishman-designed AEQ-SP2 preamp system. Equalization controls for Bass and Treble bands, plus a Master Volume control, allow you to refine the GA Cutaway Classical's signal delivery to most effectively interact with the space or system at hand. Additionally, an onboard tuner helps ensure that you're always in tune and prepared for lengthy setlists and sessions. From tracking your next EP to open mic nights and beyond, the GA Cutaway Classical is ready to be heard.
