Daniels Patent Banjos were designed and assembled by Joe Daniels in London England, basing his work on his 1887 patents on a metal casing around the hoop and a tensioner spring for the tailpiece. While Daniels may have contracted the metal- and wood-working, he seems to have assembled the instruments himself.
Joe Daniels died at age 73 in 1915.
There are some light dents in the metal and the tuning machines have been replaced. We are included the original tuning machines.
