This Philipp Raab full-size violin features back and sides made of beautifully flamed maple, and includes a bow, case and rosin. This violin is dated inside to the year 1851. There is general cosmetic wear to the instrument's finish including scratches dings, and scuffs. There are also some repaired cracks on the bass side of the upper bout Overall the instrument is in good playing condition, ready for the next musician to bring it to life! The case shows some cosmetic wear and tear but is still in good shape and functional.
