When they were originally introduced in 1966, the Yamaha FG series proved that a great acoustic guitar didn’t need to cost a fortune. With a focus on great playability, musical tone and outstanding build quality, the original FGs quickly became classics with countless careers and hit records starting life on an FG. This FG470SFM has a beautiful cherry burst finish with a solid spruce top and flame maple back and sides. There are a few light scratches on the back lower bout of the body close to the edge, but overall this guitar is in excellent condition.
