The Shure Model 588SDX Microphone is dual-impedance, cardioid (unidirectional) dynamic unit that provides excellent reproduction of voice and music. Its spherical grille is a very effective wind and pop filter especially good when used for closeup vocal miking. This mic is comparable to a Shure SM58 but with a on/off switch, a less secure shock mount system and smaller frequency range. It has some signs of age and wear, but overall is in very good condition.
