The Flatiron 3M Mandolin w/ OHSC

Condition: Excellent

To dediciated mandolinists, The Flatirons are known to be some of the best factory made instruments to ever come out of the United States. This Flatiron 3M Mandolin was manufactured in 1983 and comes from Bozeman, Montana. It has an Army-Navy style body, also known as a 'pankcake' or simply a 'flatiron' body. The Flatiron made use of some very attractive wood when crafting this instrument. The back and sides are birdseye maple and it has a solid spruce top. The top and back are both bound. It also has a rosewood capped headstock, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and ebony bridge. This mandolin is in excellent condition, with only a few small nicks in the top near the bass side of the bridge. On top of all that, it comes with its original hardshell case which has an orange plush interior.
