What you're looking at is the famous (or infamous) Silvertone 1448 with the "Amp-In-Case". Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately), the amp is non-functioning, and the inside hinge on the case does not function. The guitar cosmetically is in pretty decent shape for being around 60+ years, and is playable although the action is pretty high.  It is currently strung with 8's, which make it easier. The electronics in the guitar are functioning, making it giggable if one dares! Everything aside, this is a very cool piece of history that is available for a pretty low price. Don't miss out!
