This is a Double Bass Drum pedal, acquired as new old stock from Atlanta Pro Percussion. This bass drum pedal is single-chain driven with a double felt tipped beater. One side of the beater is flat, and the other side is slightly more angled for more aggressive striking. This is only the right side of a double bass drum pedal so it can only be used as single unless a left pedal and beater are added. The connecting rod is included. It has a solid build with a base plate. The base plate has Velcro on the bottom so when you place it on a carpet it doesn't move around while playing. The hoop clamp works perfectly and this pedal would function greatly as a single pedal or a double pedal just by implementing a few add-ons.
