PBC Telecaster Copy Sunburst Maple Fingerboard
PBC was a small luthier shop in Coopersburg, PA that built custom guitars and basses during the early 90's. The "P" stands for John Pearse and the "B" stands for Dave Bunker of Bunker Guitars. This particular piece is a copy of a Fender Telecaster that features high quality flamed maple for the top and neck as well as highly figured birdseye maple for the fingerboard. That is all paired nicely with black fittings and nickel hardware including Grover brand nickel tuning machines. Also incorporated is Dave Bunker's proprietary "Tension Free" neck with a truss rod that does not need to be adjusted. The neck is true and straight even when the guitar is tuned up. This is a very good looking instrument with very nice sounding pickups and feels great to play!
This particular piece is in very good condition but does show signs of wear including a couple of scratches and chips in the finish. It also looks like it took a hit on the back edge near the controls side (see pics).
