The Genera is a 10mil signle-ply with the fat spread of a double-ply. A 2mil overtone control ring on the underside "floats" with the head, eliminating excessive overtones. This is a new old stock head. The box may show some signs of shop wear and the head may have a few light scratches to the coating. This head has never been used or seated on a drum.
