The Pearl Protone Mesh Muffle Heads are designed for silent practicing. These heads hardly make any sound when you play so they're great for students or anyone who needs to keep their volume down. This is a 20" ProTone Mesh Muffle Head for a 20" bass drum.

We did have to open the bag for our pictures but this head is brand new and has not been seated on a drum.
