1923 Wurlitzer/Victor Talking Machine Co. Victrola VV-50 Suitcase Turntable / AS IS, FOR PARTS
Condition: Non-Functioning / AS IS, For Parts
NO RETURNS, NO REFUNDS
This is an antique 1923 Victor VV-50 Suitcase Turntable. It utilizes an internal spring that is cranked and tightened by the attachable arm.
This turntable does function but not as it should. It could still be fixed up to make a decorative piece, or just be used for parts. We were told by its last user that the spring inside (which drives the turntable), is pretty weak compared to how they should function.
- Made in 1923 in Camden, New Jersey
- Adjustable Speed Knob
- Earlier Model w/ Crank on Front (as opposed to the side, like later versions of this model)
- Crank Holder Under Lid
- Metal Handle on Side
- Metal Prop-Up Arm Inside
- No Needles Included
PLEASE VIEW EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS LISTING CAREFULLY BEFORE PURCHASE because.......
This item is in Non-Functioning condition due to its structural and cosmetic state. The needle head is completely off the arm, and the insertion joint on the arm is bent in, making it a bad fit for the needle head. The thumbscrew that holds the needle in place is broken off but we still have it, will be included. There are many blemishes, scratches, and markings in the wood, interior and exterior. As stated, this is in rough condition. We hope we are able to find it a good home.
